Manager – Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement for specific categories of goods and services, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers for efficient sourcing and delivery
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate options based on cost, quality, and reliability
• Manage the procurement process, including issuing Requests for Proposals, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and supplier consolidation
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant field
• 12–18+ years of experience in strategic sourcing
• Proven experience working within regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings, contract coverage, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction
