Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy, transformation, innovation, and operational excellence efforts across all aspects of Engineering.
• Leverage data to assess needs, develop options, and make recommendations to drive decision-making at the highest levels of Engineering and Operations.
• Act as a central hub for cross-functional communication and planning to ensure integration across the enterprise.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop, articulate, and execute strategic goals and objectives.
• Lead engineering transformation workstreams to improve performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Lead and deliver cross-functional initiatives aligned with global Engineering priorities.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3 years of business analysis, strategy, or project management experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.
• Proven experience directly managing people.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading teams, projects, or programs, or directing the allocation of resources.
• Strong background in business analysis and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Biotech operations or within engineering-intensive industries.
• In-depth knowledge of Biotech industry trends and the competitive landscape.
• Strong business and financial acumen, specifically regarding facilities and capital project environments.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in project management and data visualization tools like Smartsheet, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Background in management consulting (e.g., Big 4, MBB) or internal strategy/operations roles.
