Manager, Strategic Finance

Responsibilities

• Craft data-driven recommendations for senior executives to guide pricing decisions affecting growth and the bottom line
• Build advanced financial models and tooling to produce business insights, competitive intelligence, and scenario modeling
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategies for each market
• Identify and research profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to inform company-wide strategic decisions
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support all strategic programs within the team
• Monitor key metrics and emerging trends in the ACA landscape to inform tactics during selling season
• Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership to monitor business health

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial science, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of finance experience within Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance, or Financial Services
• 4+ years of experience working directly with C-level executives
• 4+ years of experience using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or MS in Financial Analysis
• Direct experience in managed care, healthcare, or insurance
• Proficiency in SQL/BigQuery for large dataset analysis
• Proficiency working with NetSuite and Adaptive
