Manager, Statutory and Retail Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Dutch and Malta statutory accounts preparation and filing.
• Supervise and support the Global Retail Accounting team.
• Manage and support local statutory audits and reporting processes across the EMEA region.
• Lead the upcoming CSRD Reporting project and ensure compliance with new requirements.
• Perform technical accounting research and write technical accounting memos.
• Support internal control walkthroughs and SOX control testing.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Supply Chain teams to optimize business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of relevant public accounting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP), advanced Excel, and Power BI.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch (verbal and written).
• Strong understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or registered accountant status.
• Direct experience with CSRD Reporting requirements and EU Omnibus.
