About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop global and local market sales pipelines to achieve sponsorship revenue goals
  • Cultivate category prospects through market research, focusing on international markets
  • Build relationships with corporate decision-makers and influencers within the European and global marketing ecosystem
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including contact strategy, presentations, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Media, IT, Football Operations) to develop customized marketing platforms
  • Create strategic, customized partnership proposals and presentations
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and documentation
  • Provide line management and support to the Sponsorship Business Development Coordinator

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sponsorship sales or business development
  • Demonstrated experience in European or global sponsorship markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to create compelling, detailed client-facing materials
  • Valid passport for international travel
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish
  • Strong knowledge of the sports marketing and sponsorship landscape
  • Proven ability to leverage professional networks to reach senior-level marketing executives
  • Expertise in industry research, prospecting, and pitch ideation
