About the Company

LatchBio is building AI and data infrastructure to accelerate biopharma R&D. We are solving the data bottleneck in biology by building ubiquitous software, storage, pipelines, and machine learning for all of biology.

Responsibilities

• Act as a force multiplier for the COO and Chief of Staff to solve messy problems and impose structure
• Build 0→1 operational architecture for new processes and systems
• Manage financial ownership including burn tracking, runway forecasting, and margin analysis
• Navigate risk and compliance by reading, redlining, and assessing contracts (MPAs, DPAs, SOWs)
• Design scaling systems that add accountability without increasing bureaucracy
• Provide cross-functional leverage across HR, finance, legal, product, and engineering
• Execute adaptive tasks as company priorities shift

Requirements

• Experience operating in a human data, AI, or SaaS startup
• Technical, finance, or intense operational background
• Extremely concise communication skills
• High agency and ability to work independently
• Ability to learn complex topics quickly (contracts, finance modeling, infrastructure optimization)
• Technical literacy to communicate with engineers, scientists, and sales teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building first-version processes in ambiguous environments
• Ability to connect disparate details to a unified company strategy
