Manager, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-6 Solution and Software Engineers.
• Manage a team of offshore and nearshore managed service resources providing platform support.
• Drive architecture, design, and implementation within the Moveworks platform.
• Oversee Tier 2 engineering support for production Moveworks HR solutions to ensure high availability.
• Partner with Product Managers and Architects to define and prioritize user-centric enhancements.
• Lead code reviews, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade features.
• Champion agile delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience with deep technical knowledge.
• Moveworks Certified Agent Studio Developer.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex AI implementations.
• 2+ years of experience managing or coordinating offshore and nearshore managed service teams.
• Expertise in integrated AI solutions.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing REST/SOAP API integrations with systems like ServiceNow, SAP, and Workday.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow or comparable HRSD platforms in an enterprise environment.
• Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
• ITIL v3 or later certification or demonstrated application of ITSM best practices.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
