Manager, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary software engineering team, providing guidance and growth opportunities.
• Promote a collaborative team culture focused on continuous learning and professional development.
• Champion engineering standards, agile methodologies, and coding best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Establish and manage delivery processes to ensure timely product launches that meet market expectations.
• Identify and proactively address delivery risks in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage relationships with vendors and third parties to optimize product value and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive process improvements and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure all software engineering practices comply with relevant regulations and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in software engineering or technical product delivery roles.
• 3–5 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proven background in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end software delivery processes and mitigate project risks.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
