Manager Software Engineering, ITC

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for Nike's Marketing Technology organization, specifically focusing on high-throughput Paid Media solutions.
• Design and maintain scalable, cloud-native architectures using microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Manage and mentor engineering teams, performing technical code reviews to ensure high quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and globally distributed teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD integration, automated testing (E2E), and DevOps responsibilities.
• Optimize system performance to ensure high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance for mission-critical systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology-related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering management.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs (Node.js or Python).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
