Manager Software Engineering, ITC

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team in the Bengaluru Capability Center, managing capacity planning and sprint execution.
• Assign and manage development work across the team, including hands-on software development.
• Partner with Product Managers and Principal Engineers on technical architecture and engineering best practices.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through code reviews and functional, performance, and security testing.
• Build and mentor an engaged, high-performing engineering team to drive business impact.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and technology functions to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology and software engineering with strong computer science fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud architecture, microservices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Experience building modern web applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments and leading engineering teams.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for partnering with global business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing and integrating AI, machine learning, and related data solutions.
