About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead an engineering team in the Bengaluru Capability Center, managing capacity planning and sprint execution.
  • Assign and manage development work across the team, including hands-on software development.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Project Managers, and Principal Engineers to achieve business objectives and technical excellence.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery through code reviews and functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Build and mentor an engaged, high-performing engineering team by creating opportunities for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and technology functions to align on organizational and technical goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology and software engineering with strong computer science fundamentals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud architecture, microservices, CI/CD, APIs, and domain-driven design.
  • Proficiency with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
  • Experience building modern web applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with experience partnering with global business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing and integrating AI, machine learning, and related data solutions.
  • Knowledge of open-source technologies and experience making strategic "make-versus-buy" decisions.
