Manager, Software Engineering, Ads Data Infra

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment
• Set technical strategy, build roadmaps, and create measurable goals to drive delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and infrastructure partners to modernize monetization data processing
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs for major architectural decisions and serve as a strong technical mentor
• Hire, grow, and retain high-performing engineering talent

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science or equivalent)
• 8+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience
• 1+ years of experience managing an engineering team
• Experience building high-availability and mission-critical systems
• Strong understanding of modern data processing, storage, and querying solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale distributed data processing systems or data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, or managed solutions like Google Dataproc and Databricks
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Google BigQuery or Trino
• Experience with AI Agent development and MCP protocol
• Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, multi-stakeholder environments
