Manager, Software Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Partner and collaborate with multi-functional team members to prioritize, plan, and deliver first-rate experiences for Workday customers
• Drive the activities of application development scrum teams delivering innovative features
• Coordinate the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and improvement of high-quality Workday products
• Engage with Development, Product, QA, and Customer Support colleagues to solve customer issues in innovative ways
• Coach and mentor team members to assist with career growth and personal development
• Promote industry-standard methodologies and Workday core values

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience building and directly leading impactful engineering teams
• 8+ years of experience developing applications using cloud-based technologies
• 8+ years of experience with design and development using an object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C++)
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance at the TS/SCI w/CI Poly level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ERP application development
• Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly security clearance
• Experience supporting team members' career growth and development in an agile culture
