Manager, Software Development

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and grow a high-performing team of local and remote software engineers
• Drive the delivery of scalable and reliable 2D and 3D visualization capabilities
• Manage project planning, prioritization, and execution across sprints and long-term milestones
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX to translate customer needs into technical plans
• Ensure engineering best practices regarding code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability
• Partner with technical leaders to ensure software solutions are scalable and maintainable
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes proactively to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 4+ years of experience in engineering management or as a Team Lead
• Proven experience delivering high-quality SaaS products
• Expertise in Agile practices and managing complex software projects
• Experience leading both local and remote development teams
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in professional workflows
• Experience hiring and scaling engineering teams within growing organizations
• Experience improving engineering processes and development workflows
