Manager, Software Development

Responsibilities

• Build, line-manage, and grow a high-performing team of local and remote software engineers through hiring and coaching
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Own the delivery of team commitments, ensuring predictable execution aligned with product and platform priorities
• Manage planning, prioritization, and execution across sprints and long-term milestones
• Collaborate with technical leaders to ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and fit for purpose
• Partner with Product Management and User Experience to translate customer needs into executable plans
• Drive operational excellence across reliability, performance, and incident management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 4+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager
• Experience delivering high-quality SaaS products
• Experience managing both local and remote developers with varying levels of seniority
• Experience managing complex software projects with cross-team dependencies
• Proficiency with agile practices and modern SaaS product delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in professional workflows
• Experience with hiring, scaling teams, and improving engineering processes within growing organizations
