Manager, Single Family Residential

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of consultants to deliver property tax consulting services for assigned client portfolios
• Manage and monitor all aspects of the annual property tax cycle, including assessment review and valuation techniques
• Lead the property tax appeal process, including informal, formal, and litigation stages
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and responding to inquiries from tax authorities
• Prepare and conduct client presentations and attend settlement conferences or negotiations
• Review client contract terms, manage scope of services, and oversee client billing and receivables
• Provide timely performance feedback and ensure workload distribution among team members

Requirements

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Real Estate
• At least 4 years of property tax related experience
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional designations such as CMI or CCIM
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA, MST, or JD
• Experience with valuation designations
