Manager Sea Cargo Taiwan

Responsibilities

• Manage sea cargo shipments, including booking, dispatching, and delivery processes.
• Develop and implement FCL/LCL development strategies for inbound and outbound trades at the country level.
• Lead and mentor department personnel, including training high-potential employees in operations and sales.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, monthly financial results, and budget compliance.
• Handle pricing, calculations, and customer offers in coordination with local sales teams.
• Maintain agent relationships and select and monitor service providers to optimize costs.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee daily operations for project shipments and VIP accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Manage customer complaints, troubleshooting, and claims in coordination with the legal department.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or an equivalent field.
• At least 8 years of industrial experience in logistics/sea cargo.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial position.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with AS400 and S.P.O.T.
• Demonstrated ability to use Cargowise.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• A proactive, structured, and commercially-minded approach to problem-solving.
