Manager, Scientific Communications

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality scientific and medical content, including digital materials, MSL tools, and FAQs, tailored for global audiences
• Draft and deliver accurate publications such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for scientific congresses and journals
• Address complex Medical Information inquiries and escalations
• Create content to facilitate interaction with payers and support compendia submissions
• Manage workflows and approvals through appropriate internal processes and systems
• Partner with Scientific Communication Operations to drive process standardization and innovation, including digital and multi-channel approaches
• Ensure all deliverables comply with enterprise SOPs, external guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (Doctorate, Master's/MBBS, Bachelor's, or Associate's) with relevant years of experience in global publications or medical communications
• Prior experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience implementing publication guidelines and transparency standards, such as ICMJE and GPP
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and regulatory guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to execute strategic plans within a matrixed, global environment
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of emerging technologies in scientific communications, such as AI tools and omnichannel engagement platforms
• Strong computer and database skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products
• Experience working effectively with global, virtual teams
