Manager, SALT Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Participate in compliance and consulting projects for multi-state alternative investment clients, including hedge funds, private equity, and real estate
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide subject matter expertise in the alternative investment industry
• Review tax calculations and information presented on state income tax returns
• Build and manage client relationships while supervising, mentoring, and developing staff

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of recent experience preparing or reviewing state income tax returns for pass-through and corporate entities
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Professional designation such as CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or MTX (or ability to obtain one within one year of hire)
• Strong knowledge of relevant state tax concepts and experience with pass-through entities
• Exceptional tax research, writing, communication, and project management skills
