About the role

Responsibilities

  • Target strategic business opportunities for Airwallex, identifying pain points and providing solutions for customers
  • Build and coach a go-to-market team on sales methodologies, strategies, and effectiveness
  • Develop and execute sales and go-to-market strategy, defining and adapting value propositions
  • Manage multiple priorities including recruiting, performance, and sales analysis
  • Work with Strategy & Operations to design compensation plans, territory plans, and operational models
  • Implement sales frameworks to improve team performance
  • Provide hands-on support in closing strategic and complex deals
  • Present Airwallex’s value proposition to potential clients
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted SME campaigns
  • Provide product and engineering feedback based on client interactions
  • Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports on performance and market trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the SME ecosystem
  • Represent Airwallex at industry events and networking functions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience, preferably selling to business leaders and finance teams in Indonesia
  • At least 2+ years of experience leading a small team
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and craft multi-product solutions
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans across complex organizations
  • Strong presentation skills for in-person stakeholder meetings
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and bespoke commercial agreements
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in payments or fintech
  • Strategic thinker with an analytical approach to strategy development
  • Success-oriented with a focus on delivering key outcomes
  • Collaborative worker across different functions and cultures
