About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the FinnOne NEO lending business in Japan.
  • Drive revenue growth by managing the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the Japanese banking and financial services industry.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the onsite sales team to foster a results-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide market feedback and ensure products meet evolving customer needs.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with local regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the BFSI sector, specifically within the lending domain.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the Japanese market.
  • Extensive existing network and professional relationships within the Japanese banking and financial services industry.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or an equivalent advanced degree.
