Manager, Sales & Marketing Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an accounting team responsible for Sales & Marketing department financial reporting.
• Serve as a liaison with Field and HQ business partners to provide guidance on accounting entries and reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statement analysis, balance-sheet accruals, and operating cash flow activity.
• Review monthly Sales & Marketing department financial results and monthly balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis for senior leadership.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements, including centralization and automation opportunities.
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes for assigned areas.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Expertise in internal controls and financial statement preparation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
