About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sales and marketing business plans to drive secondary sales within the assigned territory
- Design and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for the team
- Conduct retail outlet audits to track market share movements and implement growth strategies
- Manage distributor and retailer relationships to ensure brand visibility, distribution, and price adherence
- Lead and develop the sales team through coaching, motivation, and performance monitoring
- Execute volume schemes, special offers, and consumer-centric activities to increase market penetration
- Oversee stock, SKU availability, and depot management, including new product launches
- Manage promotional budgets and ensure strict adherence to company working norms and practices
Requirements
- MBA in Sales & Marketing
- More than 5 years of experience in sales
- Proven experience handling distributors and retailers in an aggressive market environment
- Strong team management and coaching skills
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills
- Ability to plan, structure workflows, and inspire others
