About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to drive growth for credit underwriting and risk assessment solutions within the financial services sector.
  • Achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities by generating leads and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Chief Risk Officers and Business Heads across various banking verticals.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship building to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and tech teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Track sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on pipeline status and revenue forecasts to the executive team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in fintech, banking, or financial services, focusing on B2B sales of complex software.
  • At least 2+ years of experience specifically selling to Banks, NBFCs, or Fintech segments in India.
  • Proven track record of selling fintech solutions, particularly in credit underwriting, risk assessment, or lending.
  • Strong knowledge of the BFSI sector and the credit evaluation process, including financial and ratio analysis.
  • Deep understanding of the decision-making structures and pain points within Indian banks and NBFCs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA.
