Manager, Risk Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex card payment risk cases and escalations with precision and accountability.
• Design, implement, and refine issuing risk rules to stay ahead of emerging fraud patterns.
• Identify and implement AI-driven optimizations and automated workflows to improve fraud detection and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Compliance to support business growth.
• Translate daily escalation learnings into structural process improvements to reduce future risk and customer friction.

Requirements

• Background in card payment risk, fraud operations, account takeover (ATO) risk control, or issuing dispute management.
• Experience working within a high-growth FinTech or global startup environment.
• Proficiency in using SQL or Databricks to analyze fraud trends.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools to inform rule adjustments and strategy.
• Proven ability to master new processes quickly and manage diverse cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong inclination to use AI/LLMs and automation to solve operational bottlenecks.
