Manager, Risk Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex card payment risk cases and escalations with precision and accountability.
• Design, implement, and refine issuing risk rules to stay ahead of emerging fraud patterns.
• Identify and implement AI-driven optimizations and automated workflows to improve fraud detection and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Compliance to support business growth.
• Translate daily escalation learnings into structural process improvements to reduce future risk and customer friction.

Requirements

• Background in card payment risk, fraud operations, account takeover (ATO) risk control, or issuing dispute management within a high-growth FinTech or global startup.
• Proficiency in using SQL, Databricks, and Business Intelligence tools to analyze fraud trends and inform rule adjustments.
• Proven ability to coordinate with global stakeholders and adapt to fast-paced product launches and regional requirements.
• A strong commitment to end-to-end problem resolution and ownership of complex cases.
• A natural inclination to leverage AI/LLMs and automation to solve operational bottlenecks.
