Manager, Rigging

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of rigging overlay scopes across assigned venues
• Coordinate development of rigging layouts, technical drawings, and documentation
• Assist in integrating rigging solutions and technology requirements
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, testing, and removal
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and engineering standards
• Collaborate with venue overlay and infrastructure teams to align rigging systems
• Contribute to budget tracking and cost control efforts
• Support development of installation schedules and sequencing
• Identify risks and escalate issues related to design, logistics, and installation
• Assist in test events and operational readiness planning
• Support Games-time planning and operations coordination

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in rigging within live events, sports, or entertainment
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, theater/live entertainment, or related field
• Experience in complex venue environments like arenas or stadiums
• Working knowledge of rigging systems and structural coordination
• Experience collaborating with production teams and engineers
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA, ANSI, or ETCP
• Experience with vendor and contractor coordination
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and rigging plans

Preferred Qualifications

• ETCP Rigging Certification
