About the role

About the Company

Blacksmith builds infrastructure to run CI workloads faster and cheaper by operating a global fleet of bare-metal machines. They orchestrate tens of millions of Firecracker VMs each month for over 3,000 companies and are expanding their platform into agent sandboxes and background coding agents.

Responsibilities

  • Build the operational foundation for a fast-scaling GTM team
  • Own and operate core GTM systems including Salesforce, sales engagement, marketing automation, and BI tools
  • Translate GTM requirements into scalable workflows and automations across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and CS
  • Build dashboards and analytics to surface insights on pipeline health, funnel conversion, and forecast accuracy
  • Support forecasting cadences, quarterly planning, and coverage modeling
  • Drive strategic GTM programs including segmentation, territory models, and capacity planning
  • Ensure data governance and system health across accounts, contacts, and opportunities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to align pricing, packaging, and ARR definitions

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Ops, GTM Systems, or Strategy
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or infrastructure/devtools company
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce (admin and architecture preferred)
  • Experience with sales engagement tooling (e.g., Outreach, Apollo) and marketing automation
  • Proficiency with forecasting or BI tools (Tableau, Metabase, Hex, Looker, or similar)
  • Strong strategic and analytical instincts with the ability to model complex GTM scenarios
  • Systems thinking and execution ability to design scalable processes
  • High ownership and comfort with ambiguity in a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL proficiency or strong analytics fluency
  • Experience supporting Enterprise and Digital Native segments simultaneously
  • Prior work with usage-based pricing models or cloud cost data
  • Familiarity with developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps workflows
  • Experience building RevOps from early stage to scale
