About the role
About the Company
Blacksmith builds infrastructure to run CI workloads faster and cheaper by operating a global fleet of bare-metal machines. They orchestrate tens of millions of Firecracker VMs each month for over 3,000 companies and are expanding their platform into agent sandboxes and background coding agents.
Responsibilities
- Build the operational foundation for a fast-scaling GTM team
- Own and operate core GTM systems including Salesforce, sales engagement, marketing automation, and BI tools
- Translate GTM requirements into scalable workflows and automations across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and CS
- Build dashboards and analytics to surface insights on pipeline health, funnel conversion, and forecast accuracy
- Support forecasting cadences, quarterly planning, and coverage modeling
- Ensure data governance and system health across accounts, contacts, and opportunities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to align on pricing, packaging, and ARR definitions
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Ops, GTM Systems, or Strategy
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce (admin and architecture preferred)
- Experience with sales engagement tooling (e.g., Outreach, Apollo) and marketing automation
- Proficiency with forecasting or BI tools (Tableau, Metabase, Hex, Looker, etc.)
- Strong strategic and analytical instincts with the ability to model complex GTM scenarios
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
- Exceptional communication skills to partner with executives and field teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or infrastructure/devtools company
- SQL proficiency or strong analytics fluency
- Experience supporting Enterprise and Digital Native segments simultaneously
- Prior work with usage-based pricing models or cloud cost data
- Familiarity with developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps workflows
- Experience building RevOps from early stage to scale
