Manager, Revenue Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end revenue accounting operations for licensing, collaboration, and revenue-generating agreements
• Translate contract terms into scalable operational workflows including billing triggers and milestone recognition
• Serve as the operational expert for ASC 606 application
• Review and interpret revenue agreements to identify key accounting drivers
• Own monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage invoicing workflows, milestone billing, and cost-sharing arrangements
• Design and refine scalable processes and partner with IT to operationalize workflows in NetSuite

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of accounting experience
• Meaningful exposure to revenue recognition and ASC 606
• Proven experience operationalizing revenue processes such as billing and reconciliations
• Ability to interpret contracts into clear accounting workflows
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biotech, life sciences, or deep tech environments
• Hands-on experience with licensing or collaboration agreements
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
• CPA or CPA candidate
