About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Renewals Managers to drive performance and career growth
- Establish clear operating rhythms, KPIs, and expectations across the renewal function
- Manage the end-to-end renewal motion, including contract re-negotiations and retention strategies
- Implement a proactive renewal model to identify risks and opportunities 6+ months ahead of expiration
- Own renewal forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility across North America regions
- Build and standardize scalable renewal processes, playbooks, and automated workflows
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and channel partners (Distributors/VARs) to maximize NRR
- Track and analyze performance metrics, separating retention (ARR) from expansion drivers (NRR)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of SaaS, cloud, or technology sales experience with a focus on renewals and retention
- 3-5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or building sales or renewals teams
- Strong commercial acumen and expertise in contract negotiation and pricing strategy
- Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) to drive reporting accuracy and pipeline visibility
- Proven track record of managing complex renewals and achieving high retention rates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or resellers
- Experience building scalable processes and improving operational efficiency through automation
