Manager, Renewals

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Renewals Managers to drive performance and career growth
• Establish clear operating rhythms, KPIs, and expectations across the renewal function
• Manage the end-to-end renewal motion, including contract re-negotiations and retention strategies
• Implement a proactive renewal model to identify risks and opportunities 6+ months ahead of expiration
• Own renewal forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility across North America regions
• Build and standardize scalable renewal processes, playbooks, and automated workflows
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and channel partners (Distributors/VARs) to maximize NRR
• Track and analyze performance metrics, separating retention (ARR) from expansion drivers (NRR)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of SaaS, cloud, or technology sales experience with a focus on renewals and retention
• 3-5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or building sales or renewals teams
• Strong commercial acumen and expertise in contract negotiation and pricing strategy
• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) to drive reporting accuracy and pipeline visibility
• Proven track record of managing complex renewals and achieving high retention rates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or resellers
• Experience building scalable processes and improving operational efficiency through automation
