Manager, Real Estate

Responsibilities

• Oversee Abbott’s corporate real estate portfolio across the APAC region, managing approximately 7.8 million square feet across 300+ locations
• Lead real estate transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, leases, and restructuring efforts
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in finance, legal, operations, and the Global Facilities Organization to align real estate with business objectives
• Execute leasing strategies that balance cost, flexibility, and long-term business needs
• Develop and present executive-level documents, financial analyses, and strategic recommendations to facilitate decision-making
• Manage the entire real estate lifecycle, from market surveys and negotiations to deal execution and document filing
• Maintain strong relationships with business leaders and third-party vendors such as brokers and landlords

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6-12 years of commercial real estate work experience
• Proven success in leading real estate transactions and facility operational oversight across multiple geographies
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable plans
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Ability to travel approximately 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the APAC region
• Master’s degree in Business or Real Estate
• Experience with construction projects
• Active certifications or membership in commercial real estate professional groups
