Manager R&D

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the OTC R&D organization
• Define and execute the OTC technology and innovation roadmap
• Provide technical leadership for new product development, testing, and prototyping
• Ensure effective execution of product development through resource allocation and technical oversight
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Management resources
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Quality to translate market needs into solutions
• Serve as the primary connection to the global Oetiker R&D organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering function (Master's degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in an engineering design environment
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and product design expertise
• Demonstrated success in new product development and commercialization
• Experience with modern product development methodologies, design validation, and risk management
• Strong leadership and people-development skills
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
