Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs), including hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Own the end-to-end Supplier Quality program and manufacturing partner onboarding
• Steward the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards
• Manage internal and external audits and implement process improvements
• Oversee calibration for Misumi sites and operate the QC Lab in Schaumburg
• Establish and drive a comprehensive Safety Management Program across US and Mexico facilities
• Act as the US OSHA subject matter expert and manage safety reporting and incident investigations
• Integrate quality systems and documentation between Misumi and Fictiv

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering discipline (ideally Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum of 5 years in a quality management role
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits
• Knowledge of standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949
• Ability to travel 30% annually domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a quickly scaling organization
• Knowledge of Mexico NOMs
• Experience with risk-based thinking and data-driven decision making
