Manager Quality Management

Responsibilities

• Maintain, manage, and further develop the quality and environmental management systems
• Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established management standards
• Lead external audits and assessments, including third-party and customer audits
• Identify process risks using quality methods and track corrective actions
• Drive process improvements in methodology, test conditions, and error analysis
• Perform technical error analysis and manage customer 8D reports
• Support the reliability test program and environmental management requirements
• Manage quality requirements and related quality tools (CAQ)
• Evaluate quality and environmental data for management reports and reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience
• 3-5 years of experience in quality and environmental management systems
• Proven knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001
• Advanced knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visual Basic for Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, AX)
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills and experience working in a matrix organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Further training in quality/environmental systems (e.g., DGQ, DQS, TÜV)
• Expertise in APQP, FMEA, 8D method, or internal auditor certification
• Knowledge of reliability standards such as MIL or IEC
