Manager Quality Management and Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Lead and strategically develop an experienced Quality Assurance team and a Quality Management expert.
• Oversee all Quality Management and Quality Assurance activities at the site, ensuring compliance with GMP standards for regulated markets (Food Contact, Medical).
• Ensure product conformity with regulatory requirements including FDA, EU regulations, and ISO 13485.
• Maintain, support, and further develop the Integrated Management System (IMS) according to ISO 9001:2015.
• Plan and independently conduct internal and external audits with suppliers, customers, and certification bodies.
• Monitor quality trends and coordinate necessary actions across production, R&D, and procurement teams.
• Contribute expertise to the digitalization of quality processes and statistical process control (SPC).

Requirements

• Degree in a technical or natural science field (e.g., Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Materials Science) or equivalent technical training with advanced certification.
• Proven professional experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, ideally within regulated environments (Food, Medical, or Pharma).
• In-depth knowledge of management systems, specifically ISO 9001 (knowledge of ISO 13485 or FSSC 22000 is a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
• Willingness to take on leadership responsibility and develop a team.
