About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Coordinate and lead the resolution of non-conformances, including Material Review Board (MRB) and root cause analysis (RCCA).
- Perform analysis on reported nonconformities related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Oversee engineering design reviews and review engineering drawings for conformance to quality requirements.
- Conduct audits of quality control processes and perform on-site surveillance and audits of major suppliers.
- Manage supplier corrective actions and serve as the primary interface to customers and suppliers for quality-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 9 years of related experience, OR
- Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years of related experience, OR
- 13+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 8D RCCA methodology and DPPM process knowledge.
- Proficiency with G&D tolerancing and general hand-held measurement tools.
- Experience working within a regulated industry.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
