About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Coordinate and lead the resolution of non-conformances, including Material Review Board (MRB) and root cause analysis (RCCA).
  • Perform analysis on reported nonconformities related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Oversee engineering design reviews and review engineering drawings for conformance to quality requirements.
  • Conduct audits of quality control processes and perform on-site surveillance and audits of major suppliers.
  • Manage supplier corrective actions and serve as the primary interface to customers and suppliers for quality-related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 9 years of related experience, OR
  • Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years of related experience, OR
  • 13+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 8D RCCA methodology and DPPM process knowledge.
  • Proficiency with G&D tolerancing and general hand-held measurement tools.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
