About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise the QA/QC team at site
- Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific QA/QC plans and method statements
- Oversee batching plant operations, concrete mix designs, and quality testing procedures
- Evaluate construction methodologies and introduce cost optimization measures
- Ensure all materials, workmanship, and testing meet project specifications and international standards
- Approve material sources and maintain a verified list of reliable suppliers and testing labs
- Review and approve test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Conduct quality visits and enforce compliance
- Prepare and present monthly quality performance and improvement reports to management
- Ensure implementation of ISO 9001 and continual improvement of QA/QC systems
Requirements
- B.Sc./B.E. in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC for high rise building projects
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, ACI, BS, PEC codes, and ISO 9001
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Willingness to travel frequently
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Quality Control
- Prior Managerial Experience
