Manager Purchasing

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company operations
• Lead and manage a team of buyers and purchasing staff, providing guidance on processes and contract negotiation
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to meet demand requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and resolve any emerging issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience in procurement
• At least 4 years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software
• Strong project management skills
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
