About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company operations
- Lead and manage a team of buyers and purchasing staff, providing guidance on processes and contract negotiation
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to meet demand requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and resolve any emerging issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in procurement
- At least 4 years of experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software
- Strong project management skills
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
