About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Auckland Property Advisory team and support the Property & Buildings sector objectives
- Oversee property advisory services including acquisition, disposal, survey, and legalisation
- Manage a growing team, providing coaching, development, and emotional intelligence to foster a positive culture
- Collaborate with the national property advisory team of 50 professionals
- Drive strategic direction and business development for the local and national teams
- Manage relationships with clients, property owners, LINZ, and various property professionals such as surveyors, valuers, and lawyers
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in property, law, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a related property or legal discipline
- Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced professional services environment
- Strong client relationship management skills and a client-centric focus
- Deep knowledge of New Zealand standards and legislation, specifically the Public Works Act 1981
