Manager, Project Controls

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project control frameworks including cost, schedule, and progress
• Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
• Oversee cost tracking, variance analysis, and overall financial performance
• Develop and maintain master schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Implement and monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology
• Produce clear executive reports for project leadership and senior management
• Manage scope changes, potential claims, and cost/schedule impacts
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and contracts teams
• Mentor and support project controls analysts and specialists
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and client contractual requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls
• Proven experience managing major infrastructure projects valued at $100M+
• Strong expertise in cost control, scheduling, and financial forecasting
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory), SAP, InEight, advanced Excel, and Power BI
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders
