About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership to multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Create an environment of continuous learning and engagement for staff, patients, and families.
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day utilization of resources to achieve service goals.
  • Facilitate seamless transitions between inpatient, outpatient, and community care settings.
  • Oversee the development of innovative services and new models of care through continuous process and quality improvement.
  • Manage fiscal planning and accountability for the department.
  • Partner with Clinical and Medical Directors to lead operating initiatives and meet strategic program objectives.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in a regulated health profession (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing).
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Current membership/certification from an RHPA College in Ontario.
  • Proven change management skills and the ability to work effectively through others.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook applications.
  • Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate critical thinking under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a clinical manager.
  • Greater than five years of relevant experience in a clinical practice capacity.
  • Experience working with inpatient, outpatient, and community-based programs and services.
  • Working knowledge of labour/management practices.
