About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clinical leadership to multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Create an environment of continuous learning and engagement for staff, patients, and families.
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day utilization of resources to achieve service goals.
- Facilitate seamless transitions between inpatient, outpatient, and community care settings.
- Oversee the development of innovative services and new models of care through continuous process and quality improvement.
- Manage fiscal planning and accountability for the department.
- Partner with Clinical and Medical Directors to lead operating initiatives and meet strategic program objectives.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in a regulated health profession (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing).
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Current membership/certification from an RHPA College in Ontario.
- Proven change management skills and the ability to work effectively through others.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook applications.
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate critical thinking under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as a clinical manager.
- Greater than five years of relevant experience in a clinical practice capacity.
- Experience working with inpatient, outpatient, and community-based programs and services.
- Working knowledge of labour/management practices.
