Manager, Program Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Program Quality Engineering team to ensure contract compliance and on-time execution
• Develop and implement quality engineering strategies and processes aligned with AS9100 standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality documentation, manuals, and procedures
• Utilize advanced quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistical Process Control
• Manage and resolve complex quality issues and root cause investigations
• Monitor and report on quality metrics to senior management
• Drive adoption of automation and digitalization initiatives within the quality function
• Lead preparation and participation in internal and external quality audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in quality engineering
• At least 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving quality improvements
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree with 7 years of quality engineering experience and 5 years in management
• Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt
• Strong understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Basis of Estimate (BOE)
