Manager, Production Planning

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Material Planners and Schedulers to manage production control and scheduling across multiple contracts.
• Manage MRP output using Oracle ERP to meet internal and external customer delivery dates.
• Execute Master Production Scheduling (MPS) activities and integrate IMS demand into the schedule.
• Perform Material Line of Balance analysis and release manufacturing orders and purchase requisitions.
• Provide tactical support for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning) and shop floor meetings.
• Identify schedule constraints, assess delivery risks, and maintain accurate WIP visibility.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to maximize growth and professional application of talents.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with AS9100 and MMAS standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, OR
• Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience, OR
• 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant experience with Oracle ERP/MRP systems, including scheduling and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, assembly, and test environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership style with daily team engagement.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments.
