About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and manage product variants to meet market needs while minimizing complexity
- Develop strategies for modularization and standardization across the product lifecycle
- Build and continuously improve the product variability model using digital tools
- Analyze the impact of variability on cost, quality, and lead time
- Ensure the controlled introduction of new variants and changes to existing ones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Directors and Chief Engineers, to align models with business needs
- Drive continuous improvement in variability management processes, methods, and tools
- Ensure adherence to internal standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Experience or strong understanding of product variability management and modular architectures
- Knowledge of digital engineering tools such as PLEiADE, DOORS, or PLM4A
- Project management certification
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Proactive mindset regarding digital transformation and continuous improvement
