About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage product variants to meet market needs while minimizing complexity
  • Develop strategies for modularization and standardization across the product lifecycle
  • Build and continuously improve the product variability model using digital tools
  • Analyze the impact of variability on cost, quality, and lead time
  • Ensure the controlled introduction of new variants and changes to existing ones
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Directors and Chief Engineers, to align models with business needs
  • Drive continuous improvement in variability management processes, methods, and tools
  • Ensure adherence to internal standards, processes, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience or strong understanding of product variability management and modular architectures
  • Knowledge of digital engineering tools such as PLEiADE, DOORS, or PLM4A
  • Project management certification
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset regarding digital transformation and continuous improvement
