About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and implement processes, handbooks, and workflows for the IT vulnerability management program
- Maintain the vulnerability management solution, including technical updates and local scanner maintenance
- Lead and manage external service providers to ensure proactive vulnerability management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure tools and set up scans, including firewall exclusions
- Create and assign incidents based on scan findings to ensure timely remediation by responsible teams
- Provide actionable recommendations for fixing vulnerabilities based on tool outputs
- Plan, scope, and align penetration testing and red teaming activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure all processes align with regulatory and organizational compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Several years of experience in vulnerability management or cybersecurity roles
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, MS Defender, Qualys, or Tenable
- Experience coordinating penetration testing and red teaming activities
- Familiarity with incident management processes and tools
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or OSCP
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
