Manager Product Owner Vulnerability Management & Effectiveness

Responsibilities

• Define and implement processes, handbooks, and workflows for the IT vulnerability management program
• Maintain the vulnerability management solution, including technical updates and local scanner maintenance
• Lead and manage external service providers to ensure proactive vulnerability management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure tools and set up scans, including firewall exclusions
• Create and assign incidents based on scan findings to ensure timely remediation by responsible teams
• Provide actionable recommendations for fixing vulnerabilities based on tool outputs
• Plan, scope, and align penetration testing and red teaming activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure all processes align with regulatory and organizational compliance requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Several years of experience in vulnerability management or cybersecurity roles
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, MS Defender, Qualys, or Tenable
• Experience coordinating penetration testing and red teaming activities
• Familiarity with incident management processes and tools
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or OSCP
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
