Manager Product Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategies and lifecycle management plans for Independent Aftermarket (IAM) filtration products
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to support new product introductions and product line expansions
• Manage and analyze Vehicles in Operation (VIO) data to support product decisions
• Prepare financial and technical justifications for product selection, including profit estimation and ROI analysis
• Conduct competitive product analysis, benchmarking, and create product bulletins
• Provide technical support and product training for internal teams
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the product development team
• Serve as the subject matter expert for IAM filtration product knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• 5 years of progressive experience in the auto parts industry (Product Management, Sales, or Product Engineering)
• At least 1 year of experience with cataloging automotive filtration products for IAM, OE, and OES
• Proficiency with G-KAT for cataloging and CIM Database
• Experience with Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) for automotive filtration products
• Ability to travel up to 5% to company locations in North America
