Manager, Procurement

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement and management of logistics services, including warehousing, transportation, and logistics operations.
• Develop logistics sourcing strategies and negotiate commercial terms in collaboration with the Zone Logistics Procurement Team.
• Drive process improvements and cost leadership programs to achieve savings targets and optimize total system costs.
• Oversee day-to-day logistics service programs to ensure uninterrupted, on-time execution and supplier adherence to commitments.
• Evaluate alternative operational models and logistics solutions to improve cost-to-serve and service levels.
• Provide analytical support to leadership through cost modeling, KPI reporting, and operational impact analysis.
• Manage external vendors and logistics suppliers through performance assessment and competitive bidding processes.
• Influence an annual spend of approximately $45-60M CAD.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, Business degree, or MBA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a business role with significant supplier interaction.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to set targets and achieve measurable cost savings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of commercial principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics operations is considered an asset.
