Manager, Process Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of NPI Manufacturing Engineers and technicians responsible for launching new products.
• Serve as the primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) teams.
• Guide teams to assess process capabilities, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement innovative process solutions.
• Design and develop processes, procedures, tooling, and automation.
• Execute functional deliverables associated with CAPA, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
• Ensure proper documentation meets quality systems requirements, including BOMs, Routers, and FMEAs.
• Write and review validation protocols and reports for new processes.
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to engineering print packages.
• Coach and mentor engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, BSME, or a related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering roles.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing an engineering team.
• Hands-on experience with measurement systems, including CMM, Vision Inspection, and Profilometers.
• Proficiency with GD&T.
• Strong data analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing.
• Expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean Manufacturing, and Process Control Concepts.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and Process Validation.
• Proficiency with Six Sigma, DMAIC, and FMEA methodologies.
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks or MasterCAM.
• Experience with metals/plastics machining or additive manufacturing.
• Master's degree in Engineering.
