Manager, Pricing

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing strategies for motor insurance products, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis of loss costs and statistical models to provide insights and determine appropriate pricing.
• Prepare and submit rate filings to regulatory authorities, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze competitor pricing and market trends to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Portfolio, and Data Analytic teams to monitor portfolio performance and track key performance indicators.
• Provide analytical support for the development and pricing of new product ideas.
• Ensure strict adherence to all motor and fire related policies, frameworks, and Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of actuarial working experience.
• Proven experience in insurance pricing and data manipulation.
• Technical experience in monitoring and claims experience analysis.
• Strong ability to coordinate information and communicate complex results to relevant stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
